Cleavage and Women's day

The Times India recently glorified the Women Achievers in India by posting a collage of successful women on the very first page of their news daily.

'Actress Deepti's cleavage steals the show at the Bollywood Fame awards 2017,' read the headlines on the second page of the Times India newspaper.

This blog post is written as a part of the A to Z Challenge annually held in April every year.

My April A to Z Challenge 2017 post will be written on a common theme - Hypocrisy of Indians.

  2. That was not a fiction? I thought it was hypocrisy in fictional version of a newspaper. :-) But can expect it out of some newspapers in particular.

  5. Eek! There is still so much mysogyny to be fought even here in the UK - it's seems very deeply entrenched in the psyche. Liz http://www.lizbrownleepoet.com Extraordinary women (please cut and paste my link - sadly Blogger boxes won't post my direct link with html, which makes me sad!)

  9. These kind of news make the headlines and people read it happily! While the important issues are so seamlessly sidelined!

  11. Such hypocrisy! It's high time the society takes a stand against moral policing!
