Life of Pri!

Hi there. I am Pri. No, don't get confused with Pi for my life isn’t that adventurous yet and I am not Mr. Piscine Molitor Patel's younger sister for he was a brave heart who spend several days and  nights with a mighty Bengal Tiger in  the Pacific Ocean. And by the way my name is Prianka and they all fondly call me Pri. Never ask me who all. You are going to witness the misadventures in my life. I am a beauty and make up freak and off course some would even feel like stoning me to death after reading my tryst with my hair. But you should also know that I am not that bad either. I live with my parents and my elder brother. I am 21 and I have a unique fad for beauty products. I always had a dream of having a straight hair and indeed I am finding ways to materialize that dream. For some strange reason, I find it awkward at times to discuss that with my parents. Offcourse, one should find ways to avoid getting embarrassed in front of their own kith and kin, but I am a shameless person and all that I want is straight hair. Sadly Almighty hasn't blessed me with natural straight hair.

It all started when I was 16, sweet sixteen. I had just passed my Twelfth class and I should admit that I was terrible at studies. Being a Guju girl, all that I could do was boast about my Dad's business and was sure that Baba would do something for my future. But my brattish nature since childhood made my parents lose faith in me. They started believing that I would remain crooked throughout my life. Even I can’t seem to convince them that I am a good girl. Aforementioned, I have an elder brother who thinks that he is smart and responsible. I once happened to steal his hair gel while he was busy involved in a 2 hour long phone call with his so called girlfriend Sonali. I made good use of this opportunity to experiment with my hair. My hair is long, curly and beautiful. But as I said I always had a dream. I pine for straight hair. The hair gel looked unused and I was the first person to inaugurate it. I opened the tube and took a small pinch of it on my palm and carefully applied on my hair. I took another pinch of it and another and then another. I was completely shocked that the tube was empty within seconds. I was assured of World War 3 soon happening at my home. I carefully dumped the empty hair gel tube in the society bin. The society watchman caught me red handed when I did this act. I had to bribe him one Thepla and 50 bucks  to shut his mouth. The hair gel treatment was not effective. It only gave extra shine to my hair but the 'Straightness' factor was missing.

One day Maa was busy in kitchen. I had just woken up from sleep. I brushed my teeth and neatly combed and organized my hair. I observed that Maa was preparing breakfast for us.

'Maa, what are you preparing for breakfast?,'  like an obedient child I asked my Mother.

'Preparing Chapattis my dear..,’   she said with a smile, ruffling my hair.

'Oh, you just ruined my hair Maa,' I got vexed for once.

Be the Voice of Change - Wake up!

voice of change
Last few days haven't been good as far as Delhi is concerned. Delhi is lately turning out to be the rape capital of India. Last Sunday an innocent 23 yr oldgirl was brutally raped by a group of 6 men. Her male friend was thrashed on his head with an iron rod and poor guy couldn’t be of much help to her. I condemn this heinous act by those heartless men who ruined this girl’s life. Little did she know that many unexpected events were going to be unfolded during that day. What is wrong with the men of this nation that they perform such ruthless act? I am afraid to announce that Delhi may not be the safest place for women to live. I am sure every woman who walks on the Delhi Street would be having some sort of fear. India is a nation where we have several female goddesses and idols and we all worship them. But sadly even if we did it from our heart, we would have at least 10% respect for women. The Sunday incident shocked me and the entire nation. Later on when I learned about the developments, I realized that this was a tragic event in the girl’s life. I mean I should tell you that entire she is indeed a brave girl. The doctors have been constantly monitoring her and giving positive feedbacks about her health although she is critical. Most of her intestines have been removed and she is under life support and ventilator. This incident is not the first rape incident in this country. This serves as an alarm for the people of India. The severity and the intensity of this incidence is high. Doctors are shocked and speechless after seeing the injuries and the physical damages borne by the woman. She was brutally raped to such an extent that even if she survives it would be difficult for her to lead a normal life. What has the poor thing done to those groups of goons? The media has been instrumental in reaching the mass and public outrage is increasing day by day.

mass movements

I want to ask the people just one question. Where did you disappear when such incident occurred in front of your eyes?. I am not highlighting the Delhi gang rape incident. Even in the Delhi gang rape thing, when the semi naked bodies of the victims were thrown out of the bus, there were people standing who were busy watching. I hate this behaviour of people who can't never really do something but finally strive to be the voice of change. This is one of the few countries where women are physically abused and mouthing bad words related to females are considered great sign of masculinity. This is the dark side of our nation. Over lakhs of women are physically exploited and abused every day. Luckily this Delhi incident surfaced and we all came to know about this. We aren't even aware of how many rapes happen every day. It is estimated that in India every 20 min a girl is being raped and every 9 seconds a girl is physically abused. What about those girls?. We get outraged once in a while when something of this intensity happens? . We are aware of the Aruna Shaunbag case, a practising nurse who was brutally raped by the compounder. The accused was released after being jailed for 7 yrs. But do we know what is the condition of the woman who suffered this cruel act. Even after 37 years she is in a 'vegetative State ' and same is the case with other girls who are fighting for justice. The scars of hurt won't heal fast and remember that they do remind about the incident forever in their lifetime.

The Tag - Mistakes happen!

Disclaimer - Strictly Fiction!.Not intended to hurt anyone or any group of people!!

“Oh hurry up girl!,” Priyanka said to her best friend Zarine as they were walking towards the main gate of FCC College. It was a special day for them. After 3 years of togetherness, friendship, love and fun, their college journey was coming to an end. It was their farewell party.

“Hang up girl, I have to wear this red lipstick, baby,” Zarine retorted.
“Oh dearie...we are already late,"
"Oh it’s still 4.25... We have to reach by 5," Zarine said and removed her red Lakme lipstick and started applying on her lips.

"Darling!! Won’t you take my pic," She winked at her. Priyanka had a Nikon cool pix with her. It was said that she had stolen her brother's camera while he was at home for vacations. He never knew that his own younger sister had taken his camera.  He had to buy a new Sony Cyber shot - an expensive one.  Priyanka always carried her Nikon cool pix and her Blackberry curve with her. She was techsavy. All the photos captured on her camera would definitely make an entry to her Facebook profile.
It was already 4.55 pm and finally Zarine had worked on her looks and they clicked 68 photos focussing her lips and face.

"Oh God! We have already taken 68 photos and our party has not yet started," Priyanka said as she browsed through the photos on her camera.
"Don't I look gorgeous?," Zarine said as they both looked at their pictures.
It was sharp 5 pm and everyone assembled at the auditorium. It was the same auditorium where Zarine and Priyanka had gone for a singing audition but sadly they were not selected. Everyone gathered at the auditorium and sat on their seats along with their gangs.

The Principal and the faculty members of various departments were seated at the stage.
"Good Evening Everyone!," said Sharda Waghmare, the Principal of FCC College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Kholipada.
"May we get in mam," Priyanka and Zarine said in unison. “You girls can never be on time, huh," Prof Sharda said.

"It is your last day at FCC and it’s disappointing. When will you girls learn?," The professor said to which everyone present at the auditorium started laughing.
“Oh Pri.. She started again..This is so embarrassing," Zarine whispered to her best friend. "You may enter," The Professor allowed both the girls inside.
They both walked ceremoniously as if they both were walking on the ramp of a fashion show. Zarine hunted for a seat but she could only see an ensemble of students seated and as a result her eyes failed to spot vacant seats.
"Oh Zarine...come here, " Priyanka called her best friend as she located two empty seats at the front row.

“Oh no ...front row.. You nuts or what," Zarine uttered. Finally they both got settled. "That’s why I always asked you to be on time," Priyanka glared at her.
"Oh whatever," Zarine adjusted her hair and looked at her Galaxy S3 front camera to see if she was looking fine.

Everyone tried their best to look good as it was their last day.  The professors gave their speech and then the party started.
"We have a DJ party and dinner arranged for you, " Professor Sharda announced.
"Have fun and don't misbehave. It’s show time guys!!, " She said and the professors left for the staff room.

Look Dashing this Festive Season

“A respectable appearance is sufficient to make people more interested in your soul”

Offcourse Karl Lagerfeld  must have thought something before he made a statement like this.A man is judged from the clothes he wears.Everyday we come across many people who wear different attires based on different occasions. I would refrain from mentioning exceptions like Lady Gaga. This festive season I have  created an ensemble for guys. A man looks dapper on blazer, thats what I've felt lately. I certainly wear my blazers whenever I attend any party or wedding. I was amazed when I saw this new contest on Indiblogger in association with Shoppers Stop, the leading retail shop.I prefer a simple and neat look. My prime intention was to create something which would make you look dashing and go women drool over you. Offcourse ,I had kept the winters, Christmas, Diwali and New Year in mind while selecting.

Coming back to Karl Lagerfeld's statement, I would wish to put some light on that.First impression is the best impression. Try to iimpress people and when you do so , you shall certainly make yourself stand ahead of everyone whatever be the scenario.
The statement speaks for itself .Hence, I have created this ensemble that will give you a respectable look and make you a perfect lad for all the girls.

So , we start from bottom to top.
1. US Polo - Mens Casual Shoes
2.GAS-Mens 5 Pockets Slim Fit Albert RS.A Denim
3.French Connection-Mens Square Buckle Belt
4.US Polo Assn - Mens Long Sleeves  Yarn Dyed  Checks Shirt.
5.Calvin Klein Jeans-Mens Long Sleeves Slim Fit Blazer
6.Titan - STEEL Collection - Mens Watch
7.Stop-Mens Pack of 3 Premium Cotton Handkerchiefs
8.IDEE Mens Sunglasses - 1610

I like to move it, move it,
She like to move it , move it ,
He like to move it ,move it,

Flashback - My entry for the Get Published contest

Love is special. Love stories are special. Let me take you to the magical glorious college days of 2 people. Meet Tarun and Anushka, the protagonists in this story .College days are memorable and how special it would be when you met your first love in your college? This is not just another story. I wish to portray the feelings of a guy who falls for his best friend. Life seems to expect more when you have attained something. You crave for someone but when that someone enters your life, you experience butterflies fluttering in your stomach. You want to befriend and eventually want them to be your best friend. And what next? .Life changes!

Tarun and Ishant are the Jai - Veeru of VJTI, Mumbai. The story revolves around the year 2003. They are the bad boys of F.Y.Engg. The duo have a bad reputation in their class and girls stayed away from them. Anushka, the only daughter of Industrialist L.K Bhatia is a new comer to the First Year. Story revolves around the life of Tarun whose life changes once he spots Anushka in his class. There is a drastic change in his attitude and behaviour. It wasn't love at first sight, but it wasn't affection too. You would witness the misadventures of Tarun who desperately wants to befriend Anushka. His friend Ishant tries to do a cameo in his love story thus adding to his misadventures.

Rich yet Simple Anushka eventually becomes friends with the bad boy Tarun Arora. What happens next is a series of melodramatic events which eventually gives life to this love story. The story will focus on the relationship between best friends. We live in the era where people believe that best friends can never fall in love. What if best friends actually fell in love? If they did, then wouldn't they still be best friends?. Calling names, late night phone calls, hanging out together at CCD or a movie or two are pretty common these days but what stands out is when your best friend proposes you one day. Tarun proposes Anushka in front of the whole class during a behavioural training session. There is deafening silence as he speaks those flowery words. Girls do have a different image about Tarun in their mind. But that doesn’t matters. What matters the most is would Anushka accept Tarun's proposal or would she insist on being best friends?. If she did, then would Tarun be still able to impress the industrialist father of Anushka. Will the doting daddy accept Tarun as his son in law? Will best friends Tarun and Anushka turn out to be soul mates?. 'Flashback' will take you back to the best days of your life, your college days.

Celebrate God !!

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 33; the thirty-third edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is 'Celebrations'
 Celebrate God with your hands,
Celebrate God with your voice,
Celebrate God in all that you do,
And he will be with you.

Listen to Him with your eyes:
Listen to Him with your heart.
Listen to Him as He speaks with you.
And He will be with you.

I still remember those  young days where we used to sing this hymn during the Sunday masses and our Sunday classes . Those were the tender age where we never knew the meaning of this song. But as we grew up,we tend to learn many new things. Recently I came across this hymn although due to paucity of time I miss my Sunday masses. God forgive me. But  I was lost into these stanzas when I read those lines with full concentration. I contemplated for few more minutes  and realized what life would be with and without God. Almighty never  betrays us. He is present everywhere. We just need to open our eyes and look for him. Celebrate him  with praise and rejoice with him. Difficulties in life are not new. They may ruin your life and spoil your happiness. But do we really need to give up. Almighty is our father. Mark my words when I speak these words which has some meaning. I generally refrain from preaching words of wisdom. These lines instigated me to write something for my blog as my blog was craving for attention. Call  and Remember him during your worst time. He is one step away from you. Remember him in your prayers and the very next moment he will resolve your issues in life. Agnostics and Atheists don't believe in the existence of God. But those who  believe in Almighty should praise his name. There is nothing without him. He is the supreme power that binds this whole world into one.You might go through the worst phase of your life and  might await the situation to worsen. Cribbing and Whining will not  vanish your problems. It may give you a transient resolution for some period of time but for a long time relief there has to be something. Celebrate God in all that you do. There might be cases where you may have everything in life. But you don't have time to celebrate the success, happiness with Almighty. Little do you know that he is the stake holder in your happiness and success as he governs you. Friends, never forget to celebrate such small happy moments with your lord. This Almighty term which I use is independent of religion while talking in this context as I want to generalize all the superior powers irrespective of the religions.

He will always be with you when you do things which he likes. He will never forsake you for sure as you are his creation. He is present everywhere  in many forms. Its just that we need to open our eyes and look forward to meet him.During  our sufferings and transgressions we call him and remember him but we never and we can't remember him during our happy times. That isn't fair at all. Everything is possible with him. He is the mentor, guide, instructor and the supreme power. Is it good to remember Jesus Christ only during Easters and Christmas?why do you have to remember Almighty Allah only during Ramzan Eid?. Did Ram said  to you to remember him only during Ram Navami. We celebrate many festivals in our country viz  Diwali ,Holi etc. But why do we have to remember our Gods only during such days. Its on our hand because we  have set certain rules ,rules which doesn't seems good to me. Remembering God on such special days  is not a rule in any rule book but do make time for him during your times of need. Pray with your whole heart.Celebrate your success with him . Let him rejoice with your every achievement. Share your sorrows with him. He is the best counselor who counsels the entire planet. He is the governor who governs your life. He never betrays you so why do you want to betray him . These are random thoughts and certain people may not appreciate this. But I want to tell you that you can together climb the success ladder and reach the zenith when you celebrate God.

Speak to him. Vent out everything to him. He is always there to listen you and he won't get irked or he won't run after listening your problems as he is the divine master of this universe. He rocks the world. Its Celebration time . This Diwali may Almighty bless you with all the riches and provide you with all the happiness in your life. Burst crackers and play safe. So its time to Celebrate m celebrate God with all that you do and he will be with you. :-)

Birds of a feather flock together!

 Disclaimer - Strictly Fiction!!

“I know you’re leaving in the morning when you wake up,
Leave me some kind of proof that it’s not a dream,
You are the only Exception……,”

My IPod nano played the Paramore song as I waited for the Delhi Rajdhani Express  at Bombay Central Railway station. It was not the first time Arush fought with me. We have been fighting like cats and dogs since the day we met each other at College. I was his sweetheart and he my life. I remember the day when he proposed me at our college cafeteria in front of our juniors. To some it looked like a melodrama and to some it looked like fairy tale story. But today things have veered out drastically. I looked around the railway platform and observed a Sikh family waiting for the Rajdhani Express just like me. Tears welled down my eyes as I stood there helplessly at platform number 1 of Bombay Central railway station. I wiped my tears as they involuntarily rolled down my cheeks. Some say that birds of same feathers always flock together.

‘Now that you’re busy in your office work, I ‘m sure that one day you would die in harness leaving me all alone. For all our dreams won’t materialize and I am quite sure about it,’
I browsed through my cell phone messages. That was the message which angered him. How could a man forget his wedding anniversary?. Priorities change and people change but it is said that true love never fails. I strolled through the railway platform till the train arrived. I anticipated a phone call from Arush.
I looked around as the train arrived like a serpent, slowly and steadily. I boarded the train and hopelessly looked outside the window to see if he arrived.
‘Beep…Beep,’ I received a text message. It was Arush.
‘Honey, where are you?. Tried calling you. Didn’t you know today was the last day to pay our electricity bills?,’
I read his text message. Two minutes later he tried calling me once again. I cut the phone. I was a rebel since my childhood days. Maa always had issues about me.
‘Still Angry Sweety?,’ I read his other text message.
‘I don’t want to talk,’ I replied him.
It was 17th September. It was our 5th wedding anniversary. It was a red letter day in our life. I was all alone watching the Saas – Bahu soaps on Sony TV and my beau was busy attending Client meetings at his office in Singapore. I never demanded anything from him. All that I expected was just a phone call. It is true that expectation always hurts. He came back home after a week. He seemed to have forgotten me.
‘You will be loyal to me naaa,’ I always used to pester him during our memorable college days.
‘Yes Tanya…I will be loyal to you and who else. I am all yours,’
He used to reply whenever he was confronted with such questions. It is painful to be stranded all alone at home on your wedding anniversary. I was extremely hurt. He woke up from sleep after jet lag and smiled at me. I glared at him in reply to his smile.
‘Whats wrong Honey?,’ He smiled and got close to me.
‘Nothing wrong…,’ I got back to kitchen.
‘There is something bothering you,’ He followed me to kitchen.
I wiped the tears from my eyes. ‘You have changed Arush,’ I sobbed.
‘Tanya… tell me what happened lovely?,’ He got serious for once.
‘Why don’t you marry your work and live with your boss?,’ I said as I washed my face.
‘Work is important and I am surprised to hear such things from you,’He replied.
‘Yes work is important, but I would like to remind you that I was important too,’ I added. ‘I used to be your life and you said you would be loyal and committed to me,’
Arush had a charming personality that attracted many girls. I was lucky that I got married to my sweetheart. I was feeling lonely as I saw love being educed out of my life. I soon started feeling as if I was deprived of love.
‘And…I am still the same and you are my only love,’ He retorted.
‘I am sorry to say that. Your priorities have changed. You’re no longer mine,’ I replied.
‘Dammit… give me some break. I am tired of justifying things. You can leave me if you want…,’ He got vexed and left.
Today was a different day. I was going to leave Arush and Mumbai for once. It was all over. The train commenced sharp at 4.35 pm.
‘Tell me where are you Tanya?,’ I received another text message from him.
‘You know that…I had texted you already,’ I replied.
‘What…When…I didn’t get any such text..Tell me where are you?,’ I received another text message from him.
I soon investigated my cell phone to check the message only to realize that the text message was not delivered. I was allotted a seat with a Parsi family. They amiable chatted with me and the journey was good. The old Parsi couples treated me as their own kin and made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed the scenic beauty of the mountains and rivers as the train moved. The train reached New Delhi Railway station at 8.30 am as per the scheduled time.
I carried my luggage and stepped outside. I saw Arush standing in front of me. He smiled at me to which I grimaced.
‘For some reasons, you look more gorgeous when you are angry,’ He smiled again and collected the luggage from me.
‘Maa told you about this?,’ I curiously asked him.
‘Yes…She  had called me  and informed me about your visit ,so we all wanted to surprise you,’
‘So it was all planned…you guys are so bad,’ I hugged him.
‘Of course darling. You are the same rebel kid Tanya,’ Maa told me as I observed my family members who came to pick me.
‘Love you guys..’ I hugged my mother.
‘Today I promise you that I won’t let work come in between you and me,’ He kissed me on my cheeks.
‘And if it comes then..,’ I winked.
‘Then you can expect me to be at this place…Promises are promises,’ He said.
‘Idiot..My love for you is true..How could you even think of leaving me?,’ He added.
‘I am so sorry Arush..I promise I won’t do that again..,’ I promised him.
‘We are going to Maldives…. so how excited are you? ,’ He asked me.
‘Maldives..wow,’ I said and hugged him.
‘Jiju – Didi. 2nd Honeymoon..Ahem,’ my younger sister laughed. It’s true that true love triumphs and at the end of the day its true love never fails.

Naan Ee/Eega/Makhi - The Movie Review.

Director - SS Rajamouli.
Cast - Sudeep, Samantha, Naveen,Santhanam

Before I start ,I would like to inform you guys that few months ago I was in Chennai for some reasons. While roaming  through the Chennai streets with my camera ,I came across a poster which grabbed my attention. This was the poster of a movie called 'Naan EE' . When I looked at it for the first time ,I was feeling weird and funny at the same time. It was rather unusual and kiddish. It showed a house fly as the protagonist. After watching this movie ,I take my words back. This is a movie of true class and its a master peice.

This movie features Kannada actor Sudeep, Naani /Naveen and South Indian beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Sudeep is a womanizer and a famous business icon who seems to be a babe magnet. Girls fall for him easily because of his fame and name. He is a rogue who married a woman because of her wealth and eventually kills her. When his partner asks him the reason for this particular charm, then he narrates the story of his wife. Samantha (Bindu) is a micro artist who runs an NGO called PROJECT 511. It is a group of  youngsters who help young school kids for their basic necessities such as notebooks ,pencils etc. Our hero Naveen (Nani) is the next door neighbour of Bindu who sets up fire crackers. Nani admires Bindu and follows her like crazy for 2 years. He watches her from sidelines but Bindu teases him.One such day Nani  as usual gives Project 511 a monthly donation of  Rs 15. Bindu's sister-in-law informs him about Sudeep consturctions and asks her to talk to them for donation. Following her Sister-in-Laws words, Bindu meets Sudeep, the womanizer. The music which plays during their meet is fabulous and breath taking. Bindu asks him for donation for her NGO and Sudeep without thinking hands her a cheque of 15 Lakhs. Sudeep insists that he wants to observe their NGO activities and he tries to befriend Bindu. Nani follows Bindu like crazy and never misses a chance to observe her. Bindu ignores him everytime Nani talks to him. They both talk to each other through text messages while they know each other. The music score is soothing and full of peace.
Sudeep calls Bindu for a lunch. Nani is seen there setting up fire crackers for the hotel .Bindu stares at him and Nani indirectly talks to Bindu through the waiters and the managers. Bindu ignores Sudeep and stares Nani which angers Sudeep. Once for all Sudeep comes to know that she is watching Nani. This hurts him intensely and Bindu is completely unaware of what Sudeep told him. Sudeep targets Nani and  stabs him to death. It is the same day when Bindu proposes Nani, but our hero is already dead. She calls him and  informs him that she teased him for 2 years whenever he followed her and she loves him. The next day she gets the biggest shock of her life when she comes to know about Nani's accident ( made up story by Sudeep and co).
Nani is reincarnated as a house fly. The efforts he takes to get adapted to his new life is commendable and it just takes you to a beautiful ride. The fly is too cute and adorable. The way it amuses you is speechless. Nani (as a fly) targets Sudeep. He harrasses him and Sudeep soon turns into a paranoid. He is mentally unstable to such an extent that he roams around with   HIT spray. He messes up with the investors and all his wealth is set ablaze by the house fly. One day the house fly observes tears on Bindu's eyes and takes this opportunity to inform her that he is Nani reincarnated as a house fly. He writes that with the help of her tears. This is completely emotional and made me  feel sad.Once again all credits to the back ground score. Now both Bindu and Nani partner with each other and plan to kill  Sudeep.A tantric informs Sudeep about Nani's incarnation as fly and asks him to do a 'Homa' to get rid of the fly.The tantric gets killed in a short circut while performing the Homa. Later on Sudeep comes to know that Bindu and Nani are partners in crime who planned to kill him.He plans to kill both of them and  the chops the wing of the fly. Nani ( as a fly) sacrifices  his life for his love by jumping through a lighted match stick, inflaming itself into a loaded cannon which kills Sudeep. Bindu griefs the fly's death using the remainder of Nani  which was the wing. While Bindu goes to work , an eve teaser abuses her. He is soon attacked by a  fly. This fly is none other than  Nani who is reincarnated again as a fly.Santhanam's entry as Potthu Govindan is a treat and he manages to tickle our funny bone.

There is a scene where Sudeep asks his workers if 'Flies' take revenges. This will make you  laugh like anything. This is a complete roller coaster ride for kids. Our King Khan SRK himself has recommended this movie. Sudeep has done  justice to the role. Samantha is cute especially with her smiles.A very Jovial Nani played by Naveen  is too good. I loved this movie and I am damn sure that you would love it too. The animation is too good and the songs are awesome as usual and this is a treat.

The movie is released in Tamil as 'Naan Ee' , telugu as 'Eega' and Hindi as 'Makhi'

So its time for the verdict. I give this movie a  4 star for the feel good  factor and I never got bored through out this movie. This was fun and will watch it again.

To me - From me!

Dear me,

Do not fret  for worrying can only hurt you more.
You know where you stand, so I am sure you can manage yourself.
Your current mind state isn't great but I am sure you can cope up well.
You might feel low and dejected and might even feel like a loser but you should know that good times are yet to come.
What if things don't go your way, but you should know that there is always a silver lining behind every dark cloud.
You tried , tried even harder this time, but do things always have to go your way. Luck doesn't favors us every time. Hard work pays at time.
Stop cribbing  and do not lament for all the petty issues in life.
This is just a phase, I am sure  you can over come.
Be strong, think positive and be hopeful.
Today ,you might  feel like a fish floundering on floor but you should know that tomorrow might not be the same .
A better tomorrow awaits you, so why fret?.

Do not FRET for worrying is for losers and we both know that you and me can never be losers for losers are weak hearted. Be strong, focus on your goals. This letter, I write to you from the bottom of my heart just to make you realize that we both can do it and together we can make our lives better.

Forever yours,
ME

Del Monte Biscuit Toppings!

Attention! Attention ! Attention.

Today I have decided to remove my thinking and story writing cap and wear the chef's cap. Del Monte along with Indiblogger has transformed the Solitary writer in me into Chef Gusteau.Chef Gusteau of Ratatouille movie had already mentioned in his book that "Anyone can Cook!" .Infact thats the name of his book which a mouse reads and eventually transforms into a chef and creates a master recipe. Forget the mouse. Today I am going to take you to my other world where I shall create a recipe which is too easy to make.It is a perfect delight.

Ingredients.

To Prepare this Recipe, we require.

Del Monte Corn
3 Capsicums (Green,Yellow and Red in color)
few cherry tomatoes.
1 tbsp Del Monte 'Extra Virgin Olive Oil'
Biscuits - Brittania Nutrichoice.
Tomato Ketchup
3 spoons Mayonnaise
Few qty of Chilli flakes
Few qty of Oregano
Grated Cheese

Method to prepare.

1. First of all , we need to chop the capsicums finely into small pieces.Cut it as per your requirement.

2. Take an empty bowl . Add Tomato Ketchup in it. Add few quantity(a pinch)  of Chilli Flakes and Oregano  and mix it accordingly.

3. Now add 3 spoons of Mayonnaise  to the mixture  along with 1 tbsp of Del Monte Olive oil.

4.Add the finely chopped Green Capsicum to the mixture.Subsequently add  the Yellow and the Red Capsicums on it in equal proportion and mix it.

5.Now add the Del Monte  Corns to the mixture and firmly mix it along with the other ingredients.

6.Add the Cherry Tomatoes to the mixture.

7.Now you have the bowl with the main mixture containing the corns and other vegetables. You have to decorate the biscuit with the stuffs and serve it for yourself.

 8. Now add the vegetable stuffing's over the biscuit.

 9. Add crated cheese  over the biscuit toppings.

 10. If you wish you can add another layer of biscuit over the topping . Its entirely your wish.I prefer it with a single biscuit.

Ready to serve and Ready to Eat.Look at the boys!. Delightful!
Eat it with toppings. Eat it with additional biscuit over the toppings and Eat it with some juice. I have used Del Monte Mango juice with this recipe

Models - My nephew Jerome and Neighbor Shashwat.
 Alternatives for the ingredients.
I have used capsicum in this recipe. Accordingly one could use  carrots, peas, spinach etc.
A good alternative for Mayonnaise could be  Curd. In market we get sweet Curds..Just add 1 tbsp of sugar to it and serve. I recommend you guys to use Corn. Del Monte Corn serves my purpose in this recipe as it is already steamed so less time is required to prepare it. You should use salted biscuits for this especially Monaco or Britania's Nutrichoice(the one which I used for this)  should do good. You could also experiment with the biscuits. Instead of using biscuit ,you might wish to use toasted bread.

Del Monte Biscuit Topping is not time consuming. It hardly takes 10 minutes to prepare this  recipe. It doesn't requires any cooking. Imagine some unavoidable circumstance where unexpected guests arrive at your place and you have nothing to serve them. Biscuit Toppings are useful at such time. You can serve as many as 5-10 people  and trust me it is complete delight. It has high nutritional value as we are using corn, capsicums, cheese etc. Capsicum is rich in Vit A and Vit C which are essential for our skin and eyes.Corn is a good source of Carbohydrates ,Proteins and various Vitamins and hence its presence itself provides you with good nutritional value.Mayonnaise actually flavors this dish and adds additional value to it. It is a perfect blend and package of bliss. Rich in nutrition and it tastes perfect. A perfect recipe for snacks. Savor it with  Tomato ketchup's or juice or Tea.

I am no Chef or Cook but you too can cook when I can. I am planning to add a recipe tab to my blog . What say? . Would love to hear your valuable feedback on my recipe. I am all ears.

This post is written for the Indibloggers' The Del monte blogger recipe carnival. And you can check the Del monte facebook page for some delicious treats.
